Great Demand for Box stalls – Announcement soon available in the Internet

August 14-22, 2010, 92286 Rieden-Kreuth / Germany

The final announcement of the 21st European Championship of American Quarter Horses in Kreuth (August 14-22, 2010) is not available yet, but the demand for box stalls already exceeds all expectations.  According to the show secretary, ‘luxury’ box stalls are all booked.

Placings in Go rounds decide on Finalists
According to latest decisions at the FEQHA meeting, finalists will be determined by their placings during the go rounds, not by their scores. Howevers, it won’t be possible to get into the finals if a competitor is disqualified in one of the go rounds even if he / she receives top placings in the other go rounds.

Separate warm up areas and times for all-arounders and reiners
According to the show secretary, the 21st European Championship will offer separate warm up areas and times in the Ostbayernhalle for all around competitors and reiners in order to offer optimal conditions to competitors of all disciplines. Further details, schedule and announcement will be published via internet in the middle of June.

4 AQHA Shows plus Final and Nations Cup

The first week-end (August 14 and 15, 2010) will be dedicated to the cattle and halter shows. From Monday to Thursday, the go rounds of the other perfomance show will follow, their finals being during the second week-end (August 20 to 22, 2010). From August 14 to 22, 2010, the beautiful Kreuth arena will become the centre of European Quarter Horse showing once more. Europe’s best American Quarter Horses of all diciplines will compete in the 21st European Championship of American Quarter Horses. They qualify in two go rounds for the finals. An exception are the cattle and halter shows, as there will be only two go rounds without a final.

The show will be judged by six US judges which will be announced shortly. The FEQHA event is once more organized by the team of Renate Gruber and Rainer Maierhofer, supported by Gesa Meier-Bidmon (official show vet), Karsten Hanebeck (farrier), Art & Light (photographer), AK-Video (video plus livestream) and journalist Ramona Billing (press office).

Order your box stalls now – Prices remain the same
Last year, 478 horss had been nominated for Europe’s premier Quarter Horse Show which meant that there were no more box stalls available. A lot of competitors already started booking their box stalls for this year months ago. “Most of them order them for all four summer events including Bavarian Spring Classic, Bavarian Championship, Bavarian Summer Show and the European Championship,” says show office manager Renate Gruber. “We will have about 50 or 60 more box stalls this year due to the fact that Kreuth built some more stalls in their former feed barns. But it’s still wise to order as soon as possible if you want your favourite box stalls.” Good News for competitors: prices will remain the same as last year, says the show office.
